BEIJING STILL ON MY MIND
I was surprised that Hong Kong was totally different five years ago.
stores were more customer service consciouse unlike five years ago (damn, i can't even spell - i'm brain dead for doing nothing).

we're quite dissapointed in Beijing, but by the time we saw the Tianamen Square - our dissapoinment dissapear temporarily. It's like going back in time.
our tour operator didn't even bother to show up. we end up doing our own tour. just imagine walking, eating, shopping and riding the subway with all the chinese characters and language barrier - for short we EXPLORED the capital by ourselves. it was pretty exciting though.
while walking back to our hotel from tianamen square - I called and bad mouthed our travel agency in Manila. that poor guy doesn't even utter a word.
it seems that we always encounter problems along the way. why can't be life worry-free for a change.
nevertheless, our past five days in Beijing has been amazing and educational...we've got to see Tianamen Square, Forbidden City (aka Imperial Palace), The Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, Temple of Heaven and the list goes on. there is a saying that you have never been to china if you have never been to see the WALL.
